Day two in Tokyo with an early start to see the Nezu Shrine in Bunkyō. It was way better than one from Wednesday as I came early enough to avoid all tourists and only saw a few locals.
Next up was a trip into Shibuya and its endless streets with big malls and small boutiques. I found a few shops ahead of the trip so I could navigate there and avoid the big shopping centers - except for the Apple Stores, which are always a must visit on trips! #nerd
There were also tons of stickers on the footbridges and around Harajuku. That's were I stumbled upon one from a German production company! Small world…
There were quite a good amount of independent shops like UNBY (below on the left) amidst all the prestigeous flagship stores. I even found both of Freitag's shops in Tokyo! They are not only spelled almost like my name but also produce their bags in Switzerland which is not to far away from my hometown in Germany.
This one is a real internet-only-secret-tip: Espace Louis Vuitton, which is an art gallery located above their flagship store. And wow,
a) it is an awesome building and
b) it has a great view over the area! Definitely check that out when you're in Tokyo! Entrance is free.
